VFM has immediately dealt with and corrected any issues, often without the need for prompting, once changing the persistent contractors for a better value company.
I know that VFM’s director, Mr Dyer, who is local to Beckenham, conducts his own site visits and spot checks to inspect the property’s condition. I have met him a number of times and found him to have a professional approach. Also finding him likeable and easy to get on with.

Ashwood Court is a modem brick built block comprising 12 privately owned flats constructed in the early 1980′s. During the spring, summer and autumn of 2012, Ashwood Court
Residents Ltd engaged VFM Procurement to tender and project manage the external works from inception to completion. Due to serious deterioration of all the balcony railings, the entire structure had to be re-designed and replaced. In parallel, external decoration and the
replacement of a flat roof area was carried out. These works were the largest and most complex undertaken by the residents company since the blocks construction.
Working in conjunction with a structural engineer and the planning authority, VFM prepared the necessary specifications, successfully obtained planning permission for the new balcony railings and tendered the works to interested companies through to award of contracts. VFM then supervised and liaised with the on-site contractors until completion to the satisfaction of the customer.
VFM kept the Directors of Ashwood Court informed of progress at all stages and invited them to participate in the snagging towards the end of the works. The works were completed to a high standard and the new balcony railings approved by the structural engineer for
insurance purposes. All residents were very pleased with the outcome as well as the conduct of the on-site contractors.
